Less than four months after an abbre- viated spring season, prep football is back with games this Friday, Aug. 20.
Reigning County Met- ro Athletic Conference champion Sanger and North Yosemite League champion Reedley open with 7:30 p.m. home games. The Apaches (5-1 last spring) host the Clo- vis High Cougars at Tom Flores Stadium while the Pirates (5-1) take on the Hanford West High Huskies at Sal Gonzalez Field.
Also at home is Im- manuel High, which hosts Roosevelt of Fresno at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Coun- ty Line Stadium. It's the debut of new coach Josh Henderson, who built a state power during his 10-year stint at Breth-

Tigers fall sports teams set to return in action

Fall sports at Reedley College are back. Foot- ball, women’s volley- ball, women’s golf and women’s soccer have re- turned following a year off for the pandemic.
About 30 members of the Reedley Youth Foot- ball seventh and eighth grade teams attended the Aug. 14 scrimmage and barbecue to watch and learn from the Tiger football team.
