Tulare County Sheriff's Office homicide detectives on Nov. 5 arrested two Orosi men, 24-year-old Juan Con- treras and 20-year-old Dan- iel Vargas, for the shooting of 19-year-old Orosi resident Brian Gomez.

• A male subject was ar- rested in the 300 block of Bethel Avenue for pos- session of a meth pipe and for an outstanding warrant.
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.
• A male subject was ar- rested on a felony war- rant during a traffic stop in the 800 block of Acad- emy Avenue.
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2400 block of 5th Street.
• A male subject was con- tacted in the 2500 block of 5th Street and was arrest- ed after being found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
• Vandalism to a busi-
ness was reported in the 2600 block of Jensen Av- enue.
• Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2400 block of 5th Street.

There were 126 calls for service and 18 traffic citations were issued.
• An incident report was taken regarding the theft of vehicle rims that occurred in Fresno. A possible suspect was identified in Sanger and information was for- warded to the Fresno Police Department.
• A subject check in the 1300 block of J Street re- sulted in the arrest of a subject who was found to have an outstanding warrant for domestic vi- olence. The subject was booked and transported to Fresno County Jail.
• A male subject was ar- rested in the 1300 block of Jensen Avenue for trespassing and multiple misdemeanor warrants. • Officers arrested a male subject in the 1500 block of Faller Avenue for an outstanding mis- demeanor warrant.
• A vehicle was report- ed stolen in the 600 block of Edgar Avenue.
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 300 block of Bethel Avenue.
Friday, November 6
There were 121 calls
for service and 16 traffic citations were issued.
• A juvenile in the area of Florence and Acade- my avenues was placed on a 72-hour mental health hold after report- edly making suicidal statements.
• A vehicle reportedly stolen out of Selma was recovered in the 2400 block of 5th Street.
• A hit-and-run traffic collision was reported in the area of Bethel and Almond avenues. The suspect’s vehicle was described as an older, green, four-door vehicle. • Officers responded to the 1900 block of Jensen Avenue for a report of a robbery. A large amount of money was reported- ly taken during the rob- bery. No weapons were used and no injuries were reported. The in- vestigation is ongoing.
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Hume Drive.
Saturday, November 7
There were 111 calls for service and 5 traffic citations were issued.
• A stolen vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of J Street.

• The driver of a vehicle was arrested for DUI in the area of Academy and California avenues.
• A male subject was ar- rested for public intoxi- cation in the 700 block of Annadale Avenue.
Sunday, November 8
There were 83 calls for service and 5 traffic citations were issued.
• A stolen vehicle was reported in the 2100 block of 4th Street.
• A vehicle burglary report was taken in the 2100 block of 3rd Street. • An off-duty deputy re- ported a possible DUI in the area of Annadale
and Indianola avenues. The vehicle was located in the city of Sanger and stopped. The driver was arrested for driving un- der the influence.
• Officers responded to the 2100 block of 3rd Street for a report of a disturbance between a male and female. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that they female was in violation of a served restraining order. She was arrested and later transported to Fresno County Jail.
• A male driver was ar- rested during a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Church Avenue after officers found him to be in possession of a con- trolled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was later transported to Fresno County Jail.
• The driver of a vehicle was arrested for DUI in the area of Highway 180 and Temperance Avenue after being pulled over and failing a field sobri- ety test.
