The ages of the men arrested ranged from 19 to 63; the oldest being 63-year-old James Burnett of Kingsburg. Twenty of the suspects were from Fresno and three were from Clovis.
One of the most notable arrests was 55-year-old Thomas Binford of Clovis. Binford is a registered sex offender who previously was arrested for assault- ing a child. He had child pornography in his pos- session when he was ar- rested.
According to FCSO, Operation "COVID Chat Down" remains an ongo- ing investigation and more arrests could be made. So far in 2020, the task force has made more than 90 ar- rests related to the distri- bution and possession of child pornography.
Detectives find body inside home in 10000 block of Avenue 400

Deputies from the Tu- lare County Sheriff’s Of- fice were called out to a home in the 10000 block of Avenue 400, near road 104, in Dinuba for a report of a shooting victim in the late night hours on Aug. 14.
When deputies arrived shortly after 11 p.m., they reportedly found a man dead inside the home from a gunshot wound. Homicide detectives with TCSO were called to the scene and are still investigating the case.

He was taken into custody and booked into the Fresno County Jail.

• A male subject was arrested in connection with a sexual assault case from the previous week. He was transport- ed to the Fresno County Jail.
• A second subject was arrested at the Sanger Police Department in connection with the pre- vious week’s sexual as- sault case. He was also transported to the Fres- no County Jail.
• A firearm was located in the front yard of a complex in the area of Jensen Avenue and K Street. The firearm was stolen out of Kingsburg. • A sexual assault was reported in the 2000
block of Meirwood Av- enue.
• A male subject was ar- rested on a warrant af- ter a traffic stop in the area of 4th and J streets. • Harassing text mes- sages were reported in the 600 block of K Street. The victim reportedly believed the messages were coming from an- other female who has the same ex-husband.
• A subject was arrested for driving under the in- fluence after a traffic stop in the area of Beth- el and Jensen avenues. In booking, the subject reportedly blew a .16 blood alcohol level.
• A male subject was discovered behind a market in the 1800 block of Academy Avenue at- tempting to steal pallets. During the investigation, a meth pipe was located in plain view inside the subject’s vehicle. He was arrested and later
transported to the Fres- no County Jail.

• A subject was arrested in the 1300 block of Ed- gar Avenue for a felony warrant, resisting arrest and delaying or obstruct- ing an officer.
• A report of two males subject in a physical al- tercation was reported intheareaof7thandN streets. Neither party wanted to press charges and a report was docu- mented.

There were 139 calls for service and 7 traffic citations were issued.

• A male subject was re- portedly looking into ve- hicles in the 2000 block of Mary Avenue. Upon contact, the subject pro- vided officers a false identification and was arrested at the scene.
• A subject reported be- ing the victim of an in- ternet crime involving the theft of funds in the 1500 block of Cherry Av- enue.
• After a traffic stop in the 400 block of K street, both driver and passen- ger were arrested for being in possession of narcotics.
• A male subject was arrested in the area of North and Academy av- enues for possession of narcotics.
• Two vehicles were re- portedly vandalized in the 1700 block of Spen- cer Avenue.
• A wanted felon was arrested in the area of Webster and Hawley avenues.
Saturday, August 15
There were 124 calls for service and 7 traffic citations were issued.
• Equipment was re- ported stolen from a ve- hicle in the 1800 block of Lime Avenue.
• Equipment was report- ed stolen from a trailer in the 2100 block of 4th Street.

• Two female subjects were arrested in the 1300 block of I Street for reportedly assaulting two male subjects with a deadly weapon.
• A female subject was arrested in the 1500 block of 5th Street for violating a domestic violence restraining or- der and another charge of felony domestic vio- lence.
• A male subject was arrested in the area of Brehler and Moir ave- nues for violating his pa- role by being in posses- sion of a large amount of methamphetamine and brass knuckles.
• A female subject was arrested in the 300 block of Academy Avenue for a felony warrant.
• A male subject was ar- rested in the 100 block of Fenmore Avenue for felony domestic vio- lence, resisting arrest and assault on an officer. • An attempted com- mercial burglary was reported in the area of Academy Avenue and 4th Street.
Sunday, August 16
There were 137 calls for service and 5 traffic citations were issued.
• A two vehicle traffic collision was reported at the intersection of Acad- emy Avenue and 11th Street. The driver and passenger of an involved vehicle were transport- ed for medical aid after complaining of pain.
• A vehicle stop in the area of Jensen and Greenwood avenues re- sulted in a male subject being arrested for pos- session of methamphet- amine.
