The versatile Jordie Barrett toured with the All Blacks as an apprentice last year, but has now made the step up after a thrilling season with the Hurricanes and debuted against Samoa. The younger brother of Beauden and Scott.

Dagg has a stunning side-step, a safe pair of hands under
the high ball and a powerful kicking boot that regularly creates chances. One of the senior men in the backline
and scored a try against Samoa last week.

Ioane’s outstanding pace and strength have only improved in 2017 and he has been one of the Blues’ best players. Like older brother Akira, he has played for NZ U20, the
All Blacks Sevens and the Maori All Blacks, starting in Rotorua.

Naholo has a keen eye for the tryline, with eight to his credit in Super Rugby so far this season. Played for All Blacks Sevens in 2012-13 and made his All Blacks debut in 2015, going on to establish himself in the team.

A potent attacking player with pace, strength and exceptional rugby vision that gives him the ability to seemingly create and score tries at will. He scored his 46th try last week against Samoa, in his 53rd Test.
BEN SMITH

ISR: Highlanders DOB: 01.06.88 HEIGHT: 1.86m WEIGHT: 94kg CAPS: 61
Spectacular speed, sound defence and reliability under the high ball has made Smith one of the team’s go-to guys. Injuries kept him out of a lot of the Highlanders’ games this year, but he recovered to captain the All Blacks against Samoa.
