Tray2Grow
Unchecked horticultural adventurism wherever you grow. A portable garden of your very own, capable of raising flowers, fruits, and veg without the need for in-earth outdoor space. A mess-free, power-free system that liberates you to cultivate what you want, when you want. The latest addition to the AutoPot range is capable of all this and more. It’s called Tray2Grow.
Whilst AutoPot pot-and-tray modules allow you to do all of the above they’re designed to do so on a plant-by-plant basis. Tray2Grow has been conceived to produce cornucopias, vast and varied arrays of plants all within one capacious yet space-efficient unit.
At least five different applications are possible using Tray2Grow. Seed trays, pots of all sizes, grow bags, micro herbs, and planters, can each be accommodated, making this the most versatile product in the AutoPot range and one of the most versatile irrigation systems period. The system feeds and waters this wide range of containers via two easily switched configurations.
In grow bag configuration capillary spikes are fitted to the inside of the Tray2Grow. These spikes pierce the underside of a bag and draw water and nutrient solution up from the tray to irrigate the substrate within. With the spikes removed and capillary matting in place, Tray2Grow can take up to four standard-sized seed trays, two micro herb trays, any number of bottom-perforated or bio pots, or our voluminous 107.5 L framed fabric planter. Both the capillary spikes
and the capillary matting are included with the kit, meaning you’re equipped for every eventuality. Three guide holes on each side of the tray are provided for garden canes
if you’re trellising plants and there are

three inset spirit levels to help you ensure everything is 100% horizontal.
When we say, ‘grow anywhere’ we
really do mean it. Tray2Grow features an overflow plug which allows growers to enjoy the system indoors or outdoors. If you’re growing outdoors you simply remove the overflow plug, allowing any excess water that may accumulate during rainfall to escape. If you’re growing indoors you just leave the overflow plug in place.
As the system requires no electricity and no running water you can set up pretty much wherever you please and thanks
to the AQUAvalve in the tray you needn’t always be on hand to manage feeding
and watering. An AQUAvalve is a patented water control device that features in every one of our watering systems. AutoPot Watering Systems can take many forms, but in essence they all involve a tray together with an AQUAvalve connected to your water supply. The AQUAvalve meters out a supply of water and/or nutrient solution into the tray. Only once a plant has exhausted
the supply will the AQUAvalve reopen to admit a fresh fill. Needless
to say, this is a very responsive
and efficient way to grow as the system is entirely guided by plant consumption.
One of the greatest advantages of this container based approach is vastly reduced water wastage. Tray2Grow essentially offers you a small allotment plot where nothing
is lost to the earth. As the irrigation comes from below nothing is lost to evaporation either. Economically and ecologically it represents a sustainable solution that, given the rising pressures and costs of utilities, couldn’t be more timely.
In the past, getting familiar with an AutoPot system such as Tray2Grow in a shop on your own was probably a little difficult. Sure you could stand around admiring the mouldings, pots, and fittings for a while (who wouldn’t?!), but unless you were initiated in their exact purpose you couldn’t get much closer to understanding them. They lacked ‘browsability.’ Until now!
