I’m confident that you’ll hear much more about the LTS throughout its pending implementation in the coming months.
QMSI Seminar – SMAA’s Q&A
It’s fair to say that the past 12 months hasn’t been without its challenges, some of which include the on-going operational commitments and conflicts abroad; the Defence spending cuts and recent in-year saving measures; and the obvious workforce gaps. Whilst these have absolutely impacted on the LWC, they haven’t stopped the hard work and complete dedication from our RAPTCIs.
As a collective, our QMSIs have been outstanding; they have contributed and added immense value; they continuously enhance our Corps reputation in everything they do; and (from a headquarters perspective) we are grateful
for their unwavering support. ‘Team – keep up the good work...!’
As I approach 30 years in the Army and my third year in this role, I never take things for granted. I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved in some fantastic opportunities over the past year with some highlights include being Directing Staff (DS) on RAPTC Selection; conducting a recent PD advisory visit to BATSUB (Belize) with some well-earned cultural immersion (R&R) thrown in; and more recently a trip away with the Corps Cycling Team to Mallorca. It’s a hard life but someone’s got to do it – aka ‘The Offer.’
