  RAPTC Athletes Shine at the European Masters Games 2023. The European Masters Games 2023, held in the
picturesque city of Tampere, Finland, witnessed an extraordinary display of skill, determination and triumph. Among the countless athletes who arrived from all corners of the globe, two exceptional representatives from the Corps, made their mark on the international stage. Capt (MAA) McMullen and Sgt (SI) Muskwe displayed their prowess in athletics, leaving an impression on both their competitors and spectators alike.
Capt McMullen, former World Tetra- decathlon record holder, a well-known name in the international master’s circuit, clinched a well-deserved Bronze Medal in the fiercely competitive Sprint Hurdles event.
On the other hand, Sgt Muskwe, a first- time competitor as a master in athletics, brought a fresh energy and determination that captivated the audience. Sgt Muskwe secured a Gold Medal in the Discus event, proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with. Not stopping there, he also claimed the Silver Medal in the Shot Put, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the world of master’s athletics.

Army Victory at the Inter-Services Athletics Championships 2023: Sgt Muskwe Shines as a Dominant Force. Selected to represent the Army, Sgt Muskwe arrived at the Inter-Services Athletics Championships with a reputation for excellence. Competing in five events, he showcased his versatility and exceptional abilities in various disciplines. Winning gold medals in Discus, Shot Put and Long Jump.
Sgt Muskwe also excelled in the Pole Vault event, earning a well-deserved silver medal. In the High Jump event, he displayed his versatility once more, securing a bronze medal. The Army’s victory at the Inter-Services Athletics Championships 2023 was not limited to Sgt Muskwe’s individual achievements. The collective efforts of the entire team and their relentless pursuit of excellence were the driving forces behind their victory.
Capt McMullen Conquers the World Ultra Multi Events Boston USA 2024: A Display of Unparalleled Athleticism. The World Ultra Multi Events, Boston, USA brought together athletes from all over the world to compete in a gruelling indoor competition. Among the exceptional participants, Capt McMullen emerged as a true champion, displaying his exceptional athleticism and mental fortitude. With an impressive display of skill and determination across a range of events.
His consistent performances across all events, coupled with his experience, secured him the top spot on the podium. Capt McMullen’s victory serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes in the Army, proving that hard work and dedication can lead to remarkable
achievements.
