WO1 (SMI)s Rob Harden and Saskia Fisher have delegated me as the duty MBS scribe this year! Rob is now Robert and has been calling me buddy since the announcement of the commission results, whilst Saskia remains the most sensible in the team, keeping us ‘in check’ supporting 2* business.
This Two-Star Headquarters enables the delivery of Firm Base support to the Army, its personnel and their dependants in the UK, Germany, Nepal, and Brunei. HQ RC delivers Real Life Support to the Army and Commands the UK Station and Garrisons. It is also responsible for the engagement with the civilian community and acts as the proponent for UK Operations. Regional Command’s effects are delivered through nine One- Star Regional Points of Command (RPoCs) that cover the whole of UK and overseas.
The RPoCs have continued to deliver Firm Base services (including UK Ops) across the UK, and in Germany, Nepal, and Brunei. A particularly impressive cohesive approach to PD business, especially with the financial and workforce constraints placed on the branches. I and the RC PD Branch, give a huge thanks to you ALL.
The British Soldier is the best piece of kit we’ve got, but how they train is a part

of that equation too, providing first class PD and sports equipment and additional funding for overseas training. HQ RC PD Branch continues to provide the best and full support to our soldiers in an ever- changing environment, and ‘long may it continue.’
I convey my thanks for having the absolute privilege, working with Rob and Saskia from a personal and professional
perspective; The future of the Corps is in good hands!
I wish my replacement? and WO1 (SMI) Josh Shackleton RAPTC all the very best when they take up their respective posts! Be aware: Saskia can DIT better than me!!
Not all support involves money: A little support can go a long way in someone’s life! Be good.
