ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING CELEBRATIONS 2022

The Queen’s Cup adorns the trophy table at Gins.This was awarded during 2022 Cowes Week to the all Belgian crew on Moana
The annual prize giving event on Saturday 19th November saw race winners presented with their silverware from guest speaker Alan Roberts.
Prior to the trophy presentations, professional sailor Alan Roberts gave a speech which included a taste of the highly competitive Figaro Class racing.A delicious lunch followed the presentation in the clubhouse which was packed to capacity.
Royal Southampton holds a year round race programme, with races hosted on Southampton Water and on the Solent.The club also hosts its Double Handed Racing series which attracts many yachtsmen from other yacht clubs in the South.
Lisa Topley, our sailing secretary arranged collection, engraving and transport of all the trophies to Gins.All our Southampton Series and Double Handed winners were present
to pick up their silverware.We also had the winners of the Beaulieu Series and Beaulieu regatta in attendance.
We have some great pictures from the packed event.It was great to celebrate their victories all together.
