NATIONAL ALLOTMENTS WEEK
EVENTS
National Allotments Week 2025:
Celebrating Allotments and Wellbeing
National Allotments Week (NAW) is
just around the corner, and this year’s
theme, ‘Allotments and Wellbeing’,
highlights the incredible benefits that
allotments bring to our physical and
mental health. As members of the
National Allotment Society, this is
a fantastic opportunity to showcase
the importance of allotments in
our communities and reinforce our
mission to protect and preserve these
vital green spaces.
To help you promote NAW and
get involved, we have put together a
Promotional Pack, which is available for
download on our website. This pack
includes posters, social media graphics,
and other materials to help you spread
the word. Additionally, a Press Pack is
available for societies who may wish to
engage with local media and highlight
their activities.
Take Part in Our NAW Survey
As part of National Allotments
Week, we have created a survey to
gather insights and experiences from
our members. If you haven't already
completed it, please take a moment
to do so – it’s very important to us.
If you need the link, check your latest
newsletter for details or visit our
website and go to the NAW page to
follow the link.
Why National Allotments Week
Matters
Allotments are more than just plots of
land for growing fruit and vegetables; they
are places of community, sustainability,
and wellbeing. Tending an allotment offers
numerous health benefits, from reducing
stress and improving mental health to
encouraging outdoor activity and social
connections. By supporting NAW, you
are helping to promote these benefits
and ensure the future of allotments for
generations to come.
Get Involved
We would love to hear about the
events your society is hosting during
National Allotments Week! Whether
it’s an open day, a community gathering,
a talk on gardening techniques, or
a produce swap, let us know so we
can share your event with others and
celebrate the fantastic community spirit
that allotments bring.
Start planning your event now! The
sooner you let us know what you're
organising, the more traction we can
build to promote it. Send us your event
details, photos, and stories so we can
showcase them on our website and
social media channels. Together, we can
make NAW 2025 a truly inspiring and
impactful celebration of allotments and
wellbeing.
Thank you for your continued
support, and we look forward to
celebrating National Allotments Week
with you!
