freedom parades around Chester, Tamworth and Nottingham, but at very short notice providing route markers for HM The Queen’s funeral procession.
Perhaps the greatest demonstration
of the ‘new’ B Company after the amalgamation was at the Battalion inter-Company boxing night, whereby
the Company came together to support the B Company ‘Blades’ boxing team. Under the watchful eye of Cpl Shepherd, the
team trained like warrior-monks. All fought hard, with the Cpl Bray vs LCpl Morris fight being particularly impressive, and with Pte Nailati throwing punches that are now being investigated by DSTL for use against Russian armour.
As ever, there have been numerous comings and goings. I would particularly like to thank CSgt Crawford, moving to the Combined Arms Manoeuvre School, for his impressive handling of Op INTERFLEX as CQMS(M) – even with a particularly niche set of foreign weapons and accounting systems. Cpl Bray has left us for the Infantry
Bristow, LCpl Sutton, LCpl Boggiano and LCpl Smewin leave the Company and
 CGS is briefed by WO2 (CSM) Coates and Lt Jarrett
