Capt Zeal and WO1 Frost
All British Army officers are trained at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) to understand servant leadership and the responsibility of commanding soldiers. Since 1947, 120 nations have also chosen to send their future leaders to RMAS for officer training because it is recognised as a world-leading academy. Mercian personnel currently serving at RMAS include: Capt Zeal as a Platoon Instructor and Regimental Representative, WO1 Timperley as Regimental Sergeant Major Old College, WO1 Frost in Academy HQs, WO2 Massey as Company Sergeant Major and Regimental Representative, CSgt Hutton as a SNCO Instructor, Colour Sergeant Tomlinson in the Coaching Advisory Team, LCpl Eyre as a Storeman in New College and Staff Willis as an Army Physical Instructor. to offer congratulations to WO2 Massey and CSgt Hutton on both being awarded a GOC 3(UK)Div Commendation this year.
The Regiment continues to recruit high quality Officer Cadets (OCdts) and I would like to welcome the following young officers into the Mercian family; OCdts Knowles and Langley (Commissioning Course 213), OCdt Dulson (CC 221) and OCdts Gray, Price and Sherwood (CC 222).
