collect their masterpieces.
Who works in the Oundle shop? Vanessa
is like my artistic right arm. She can draw, loves pottery painting and people. She has a contagious laugh! We also have a team of dedicated young people who help us during school holidays and at weekends.
Can people book private ceramics parties?
Definitely. We host a lot of parties and in our fantastic new location in Oundle, not only can we seat 40 people in the main room, we also have another room in the eaves of the chapel where we can host 16 people.
Do people have to be artistic? Absolutely not! They just need a desire to relax, try something new or use their artistic abilities.
What makes Pot en Ciel Ceramics different?
Its beautiful setting and our team’s passion for wellbeing. We are one of the very few ceramic painting studios in the UK who focus on adults
with our bisque selection, techniques, support and environment. We of course love having children’s parties too.
Proudest moment? Opening the Chapel at The Bazaar!
Dinner out or at home? I don’t mind – as long as somebody else is cooking!
...and a favourite tipple to go with it? Sorry to break all stereotypes – I am French and don’t drink wine! I do love cheese and bread though.
You have a day off, what do you do? I’d spend it with my little grandson and make something with my hands! I’d like to learn 60 new skills before I turn 60! (55 to go in the next 3 years!)
What brings you joy? Seeing people happy.
Something people don’t know about you? I have presented for Padders Shoes on QVC!
Who inspires you? Coco Chanel and Emma Bridgewater.
