So much going on, in and around Oundle, what will you choose to do?
Phew! What a scorcher July was! Sunny days, balmy evenings, music, barbecues and a chance to catch up on all the socialising that we’ve missed over the last couple of years.
As we approach the end of the summer holidays, if you’re running out of things to keep the children amused, Charlotte from Jollys Toys in Thrapston, shares some jokes and puzzles with us (page 20).
Fancy a pint? The Brigstock Beer Festival is a must. Bring the whole family over on Saturday 17th September and sample some of the terrific range of beers and ciders available. The children will love the climbing wall, large bouncy slide and penalty shoot out. There will also be lots
of live music – to suit all tastes, stalls with games and competitions, as well as a brilliant selection of food from local traders – and entry is completely free (page 12).
