 An expression of Gratitude
The Royal Army Veterinary Corps expresses its gratitude to all the contributors of the heritage record, far too many to mention, who over the decades have included many enjoyable articles regarding the Royal Army Veterinary Corps.
The Royal Army Veterinary Corps also thanks the British Army’s Soldier Magazine, for allowing us along with other publications to republish their very interesting articles concerning The Royal Army Veterinary Corps, in addition we convey our sincere gratitude also The Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals who so magnificently promote our heroic military working dogs who have been involved in so many conflicts.
Gratitude is also expressed to the professionalism of our vets, veterinary technicians, equitation instructors, and Military Working Dog trainers and handlers, the rider/grooms, kennel maids, from the Woman’s Royal Army Corps, the Royal Air Force, the many Regimental handlers from many other Regiments and Corps along with all the other essential civilian staff who has ably supported the Corps throughout.
Today’s frontline handlers and their trusted dogs continue to be an essential component in today’s operations as were our handlers in Malaya during the
1960s, Northern Ireland and so on.
The Royal Army Veterinary Corps endures even in the modern technological battle space, as a result of the professionalism of those serving today; just as professional as their forebears were during the early decades enshrined herein this historical
account.
