era, the inception of RAVC TA and Reserves, the Women of the WRAC and RAVC, who have played an immense part in the Corps heritage, Pack Animal Transport Past and Present, ceremonial or ‘Warrior Horses’ located here in the capital providing a huge source of pride to the nation not only on state occasions but each and every day, Technical matters, the RAVC’s Wider Integration in Defence are among some of the other aspects which provide a better insight of what the RAVC does today. The manuscript outlines the formation of one of the youngest regiments in the British Army, 1st Military Working Dog Regiment (Royal Army Veterinary Corps) which delivers veterinary support and the numerous Military Working Dog Teams for military operations worldwide.
Significantly this volume recognises and endeavours of our soldiers who have been so instrumental in the Corps performance.
