3 MerciAn Welcome Home Parades
26 November – 1 December 2011
The Battalion mounted seven welcome home parades and hundreds of people turned out for each one. Each parade had something unique about it, the photos tell the story. The importance of Battalion KAPE and Welcome Home Parades cannot be overstated, they are deeply appreciated by the public. The Mercian Regiment wish to thank the staff who helped us run these events, their help and enthusiasm was infectious:-

The County Town was packed and the parade followed by the Santa Dash. The reception in the County Buildings was excellent.
We also received excellent coverage in the Midlands media.
