“The Exercise was a great opportunity to develop and improve low level skills and
drills as well as tactical understanding at
the mid-level; it had a good balance of being challenging but also a constructive learning experience. To come together from different Companys and locations and work as such an effective team within two weeks was, to me, impressive.”
Maj Tim Brown, OC A Coy
“Ex BALTIC FIST has been one of the highlights of my military career. The scale of reservists deployed alongside their regular infantry, engineer and armour counterparts is something that would have been near impossible to replicate in the UK. I was high
quality training for all involved.”
Lt Liam Hopson, G Coy
“The exercise proved to be an enjoyable
and valuable experience, with plenty of opportunities to develop various skills and drills in unfamiliar and often complex terrain, ranging from extensive trench systems to large, dense woodblocks. A particular highlight was operating near heavy armour, as well as getting hands on with specialist bridge laying equipment and putting it to use as part of an opposed wet gap crossing.”

Having the opportunity to work with a range of nations and different cap badges, in a well- planned exercise is always a great opportunity and testing for all Riflemen.
