Oundle Life
LOCAL HEROES
This month’s Oundle Life Local Hero is one of our Town Councillors...
I nominate Jerry Hutton for the Local Hero Award. Not only has Jerry been on the Oundle Town Council since 2017 (becoming the Mayor for a year too) but he gives up even more of
his time to help local initiatives about which
he is passionate. He provides a vital point of liaison between the Council and several of
the busy voluntary organisations and he puts his hand up to do many things to help their work. He built several of the planters for the Blooming Oundle project, he helps Transition Oundle on their cycleways project and is a reliable member of the Oundle Waste Less litter picking team. He supports many of the town’s Arts organisations, attending their events and volunteering as a steward too. He will always help if he can and on top of that, he is a really good bloke! Thanks for all you do, Jerry. Your contribution to the town is invaluable.
We surprised Jerry with a £25 voucher for Amps Wine Merchants and his certificate.
Amazing Jerry, thanks for all your hard work!

Update on one of last month’s Oundle Life Local Heroes...
Hannah Williams lost her mum, Pat, to cancer in October 2019. In honour of her mum (and to celebrate her 21st
birthday!) Hannah
shaved her head and has currently raised over £2500 for the Thorpe Hall Hospice, Sue Ryder Charity.
You look truly beautiful (with and without) hair!
