Since the Global Pandemic hit the UK, 3 AAC have continued to operate throughout within restrictions. Starting off with a Battlefield tour to Ypres, Belgium in March 2020, which
gave a numerous number of Soldiers throughout the Regiment the chance to travel and learn about history.
In Nov 2020 Soldiers from 663 Squardron deployed to Stanta in Thetford on Ex VOIJEK SABRE and were put to test with skills they have learnt throughout the year, including CBRN drills. The Squadron enjoyed the exercise and learnt a lot from it.
In Dec 2020 Soldiers from 662 Sqn deployed to Stanta on Ex OLETHTRION CLAYMORE which put the soldiers from the Sqn to test with back to basics infantry skills, whilst still in support with Apache. Soldiers of all ranks showed great leadership throughout and it was a great test for the Sqn before winding down before the Christmas stand down period.

Even though the Regiment have been busy with Flying and Exercises throughout the year, they have still managed to get involved with Sports and AT, with a week in North Devon on a Multi activities week, Soldiers got involved with Ex HARDRIDE which is the British Army Enduro Championships. Although it came to a Steady halt at the Beginning of the National Pandemic SSgt (SSI) Battle has kept up to speed with his Boxing knowledge by attending the England Boxing CPD 6 Week courses, however, he cannot wait to get back in the Ring to officiate.
Overall a busy, challenging year for everyone within the Regiment, but they have got lots of exciting things to look forward too throughout 2021/22.
