  Malvern Autumn Show 2018
The show seems to come around very quickly each year. However, the autumn shows are a lot easier as we just load the produce
that has been grown on the allotments. With help from Dennis and Chas we set off with a carload – we do not make a decision about what to use until we get to the show ground. So, we had plenty to select from, and by Friday 1pm we were ready, as judging starts after 2pm.
We were back on site on Saturday at 7am to discover that we had been awarded an RHS Silver for the stand. What a lovely weekend. Staff from Head Office came on Saturday and Sunday; the President, Phil, in his jazzy waistcoat and bowler hat played the part and caused a lot of interest. Tom Terrence, WM Regional Rep, also joined us on the Sunday.
Saturday was so busy, one could not get a pin between the
5 deep all day. There was a lot of interest; we recruited 3 new members and lots of publicity was given out to associations. By Sunday we were tired, but thanks to Colin's daughter Sue and the children Amelia, William and Joanne we packed up the cars, and headed for home.
Hope to see you in the spring.
Colin and Rosemary
