Moncreiff Shield winners. With an overall win and taking the Competition by storm, A Sqn was victorious.
BAWF. British Army Warrior Fitness is new sport and concept of training throughout the British Army. The SCOTS DG BAWF Team made up of Lt Fooks, SSgt Sansom, LCpl McCormick, and Cfn Burnip completed in 4 Regional events each consisting of 4 team workouts. The SCOTS DG BAWF Team took 1st place throughout the Region overall winning 3 of the 4 events throughout the year. I must also Mention LCpl Keicher, she was part of the BAWF Scotland Womens teams which was made up of several women across the Region. This team finished 1st in the Region and 3rd in the British Army, respectfully.
Boxing. The Station Boxing evening has certainly been the highlight of my time here. I can safely safe that I have not been challenged in a while but, converting the REME hangar in a boxing spectacular was challenging to say the least! Although the Regiment only had 3 boxers fighting the support from the Regiment was overwhelming. I must say a special mention to Tpr Antwis who was awarded the best endeavour and the best bout of the evening award, and
Tpr McGarry who was awarded the Gordy Adam Trophy for the best boxer within SCOTS DG, Congratulations.
Northern Lights. Northern Lights is an annual Sports Competition for all UOTC students to take part in some friendly competition in a military environment. SSgt Sansom and Tpr Bell both helped in the organisation and officiating to ensure the day was a success.

Upon arrival the Team spent the evening conducting a RECCE of the town centre which followed by an early morning training session. The training firstly began with SSgt Sansom taking the team for a swim in the hotel pool and then onto a local park for some drills, the humidity instantly took its toll on the team, and we were soon training “tops aff”. The first fixture was against a local team which we massively underestimated. Playing in 30+ degree heat was hard enough until we figured one of the players was and ex Egyptian international who ran rings
