Members’ e-newsletter
Are you receiving the Members’ e-news? This is emailed out to all our contacts and site secretaries are encouraged to circulate to their plot holders. However, you can subscribe yourself in the members section
of the website. If you have a role based email (ie secretary@anytown allotments.org.uk) you may not be getting the e-news because of a mail-chimp quirk that stops us from uploading those addresses but you can subscribe yourself.
Protecting your
Allotment - Safety
Advice lea et
A useful new guidance document has been prepared by a team of police support volunteers based in Blaby District, Leicestershire. The guidance is written for allotment organisers so that they can recognise vulnerabilities in their own sites, understand what can be done to reduce risk of nuisance and criminal offences, and what the cost implications might be. The lea et can be found in the Downloads and Resources section of the website.
Membership Fees
On the 1st January membership fees for societies and associations rose to £3 per plot holder.
Making a Difference
Our website now has a new page where we can tell the world about all the hard work that our members do to support the Society and promote the allotment movement. Have you got an allotment hero or heroes in your locality? Please let us know and we can feature them on the page. Email diane@nsalg.org.uk
