Start a baseline ecological monitoring programme to enable monitoring of changes.
Liz Ballard, CEO of the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust sends us all a message:
'I'd like to say a particular 'thank you' to the Gay Birders’ Club for the fantastic donation. They would be very welcome to join one of our Ughill Farm events planned in 2024 or to support our monitoring on the site with a bird survey.'
Liz was also very positive about our group and would also like to share an article about the GBC in the SRWT’s membership magazine ‘Kingfisher’, connected to a piece on 'Out for Nature' which connects people in the Wildlife Trust network within the LGBTQ+ community.
I can find out when the farm visits are to take place and add an extra event to the events calendar so people interested in seeing the farm will be able to visit. It’s great to make connections.
