Ruislip Lido and Woods 17/09/2022
Helen, Joyce, Gavin , John and I had a very good walk and chat and catch up in Ruislip. 22 bird species were seen in all. The House Mar􏰀ns and Swallows were dar􏰀ng over the water to let us know that summer was s􏰀ll in full swing. Mega squabbling between Heron and Li􏰁le Grebe was witnessed when the Heron got too near the grebe youngsters. We were accompanied by much sweet birdsong through the wooded paths but many birds were extremely good at concealing themselves in the full foliage. Horseback riders and golfers were also spo􏰁ed. An enjoyable day. Jim Clark
