Oundle Cricket Club
    Anyone for cricket? The chairman of Oundle Cricket Club, Peter Wilson, gives us an overview of the club which was established in the town over 196 years ago!
Can anyone come along to have a go? Yes, we are welcoming to all ages, genders and abilities.
What age do you have to be to join the club? We have a course that includes those in Reception (aged 4).
How much is an annual membership?
Annual membership is £10, although the All Stars course costs £40 to join for those in Reception and Year 1.
What are the opening hours? We have home junior fixtures on alternating Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays through the season, but the ground is a hive of activity for All Stars and Mini Badgers from 4-7.30pm on a Wednesday. The U11s & U13s will often be found training at the ground on Fridays from 6-8pm and one of our senior sides will be at
home on a Saturday. When there is cricket on, the bar is open!
Do you play competitions against other clubs? Yes, our senior teams all compete in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, the U19s in the Northamptonshire U19 competition and we have U11s, U13s, U15s and U17s sides in the Higham & District Cricket League.
Is one to one tuition available? Yes, we have expert coaches offering one to one sessions at various points across the summer.
What does the clubhouse have to offer? Two changing rooms, a disabled toilet and a bar, with a selection of drinks for all ages.
Best things about the club? The family feel makes the club a pleasure to be a part of for players of all ages and abilities.
