down for the annual ski trip next year to continue with SF2.” Officer Cadet Merriman had similar praise for SF1: “it was a really great week, our confidence and skills rapidly improved throughout the week. The week involved
applying leadership skills and learning that gondolas first thing

In the evenings, spirits were
high from a day of exhilaration
and a sense of achievement. Rooms of mixed companies allowed us all to make new friends and come together as a group to play cards, pool and sample each other’s culinary skills. One particular highlight was celebrating Officer Cadet Buckley’s 20th birthday where I’ve lost count
of the number of loud and pitchy renditions of ‘Happy Birthday’ were sung. All in all, Exercise SACRE BLEU was a fantastic finish to the holidays and I can’t wait to go back next year for SF2 continuation.
