Thrapston WI meet on the 1st Thursday of each month, at Thrapston Baptist Church. On 4th April, Shireen Belly Dancers will
be visiting us to demonstrate their beautiful dance form. There will be an opportunity to participate, but this is optional. Please feel free to just come along and watch.
As well as being about fun, friendship and involvement in the local community, The Women’s Institute also has a rich history of campaigning on national issues. Every issue that we campaign on stems directly from
a resolution put forward by members and adopted at the Annual Meeting. WI members have a unique opportunity to turn a concern into a national campaign every year, backed by the whole of the WI. At our May meeting we will be discussing this year’s resolutions, and then ending the evening with a fun quiz.
Our skittles team is going from strength to strength, and our walking group continues to meet regularly, whatever the weather. Our bench has now been installed by the river. We hope you enjoy sitting for a moment and enjoying the view.
We have an exciting programme planned for 2024, with a wide range of speakers and activities. Contributing to the wonderful Thrapston community is important to us, summer will soon be here, and we plan to participate in the annual Charter Fair.

on Wednesday 15th May leaving from the COOP at 9.30am and arriving back at approx 5pm.
