Annual Church & Village Fete
What a lovely afternoon we had in the grounds of Denford House, thanks to Ed and Suzanna, and the Church, enjoying some great stalls and fun. The success of the day was down to an amazing group of people, too many to mention individually, who have prepared, organised and worked hard, both before and on the day to deliver. (They are still recovering!) THANK YOU ALL for the £1801.89 raised!! A particular mention must be made of 9 year old Adam, who ran the Bouncy Castle, raising a superb £19.70. What a great villager!
Cream Teas Back in May we served cream teas to the world and his wife. Thanks to the valiant efforts of our team we raised £313 for the work of the Christian Aid Organisation.

We give grateful thanks to Jan Colson and all who worked so hard to make our Festival weekend the success it was right through to the evening service of Songs and Praise. Our next major event will be the Arts and Crafts Show on 12, 13 and 14 October.
If you would like to come to a church service but don’t want to come on your own or find getting there difficult feel free to contact one of us and we’ll do our best to help.
More people are still needed to help us
with such things as flowers, cleaning, teas, reading and giving out books etc. Do please contact a churchwarden if you can help in any way. We’d love to hear from you!
