Helix Operations understand that first class equipment is only one part of the equation and that without training it is unlikely to be utilised to its full potential. Our training courses are built to provide specialist height access and rescue skills to
tactical operators and rescue team personnel in a context that can be transferred to real world taskings. We offer both core courses that follow an externally accredited syllabus through to bespoke courses covering specific scenarios.
TACTICAL TRAINING
Our range of tactical rope and rescue courses are spe- cifically aimed at military, police, law enforcement and government markets. We deliver several externally accredited courses but can also deliver bespoke training and CPD on request. As well as Tactical Rescue and Urban Tactical Rope courses, Helix also offer training on systems and products such as TRACE Micro Rope Systems and REBS Compact and Standard Grapnel Launchers. PPE COURSES
Personal Protective Equipment Regulations (PPER 1992) is a regulation set out by the Health & Safety Executive that places a duty on every employer in Great Britain to ensure that suitable PPE is provided to employees who may be exposed to a risk to their health and safety whilst at work. Helix Operations provide three separate courses to all users and inspectors of PPE including User Awareness, Inspectors and Re-validation. Courses run from our own facility in North Wales, but we can also offer closed courses to specific user groups from a location suitable to their needs. RESCUE TRAINING
Rope rescue training can be delivered through a range of options; from standard courses for the operator, maintainer or supervisor, through to bespoke courses covering specific scenarios. Helix also offer the Safe Working at Height (SWAH) and Co-Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH) courses and these courses are all Rescue 3 Europe courses.
