Private Shapland has taken on a new role altogether. Private Shap- land participates in the exercise with Chestnut Troop as the bat- tery sergeant major’s assistant, assisting with all his responsibili- ties and experiencing working with new vehicles and weaponry.
The detachment has remained busy in the admin space for Regi- ment and has also assisted, where possible, with the daily func- tions of training and future events planning, but one member of the detachment has remained at the forefront of spreading awareness of the menopause within the workplace, in the sup- port of service women.
Sergeant Stickland, has been one of the lead members in spread- ing awareness about the menopause, having joined members of the menopause network committee to take part at an event at MOD Abbeywood, early this year and has events planned in the future, again, meeting people and spreading awareness to a wider audience, hopefully, with the help of such stars as Davina McColl.
We have members of the detachment working in the field along- side exercising troops, we have personnel still beavering away in the i-Hub, we have members who are potentially mixing it with the stars... we also have a member who loves nothing more than jumping out of planes.
Sergeant Warner, who is highly skilled and in fact highly qualified in the art of skydiving has this year, been heavily involved with

skydiving and has also been asked to help be a judge at an event in Arizona in the United States. This event brings together, sky- diving teams from across all three services and is a prestigious event, not only to participate in but to judge. Sergeant Warner, with her skills and experience is very much up to the task.
