NEXT YEAR LOOKS SET TO BE VERY EXCITING AS WE BUILD ON THE SUCCESS OF THIS YEAR

With Ben off campaigning an RS Feva the Autumn series saw the older of the Evans brothers, Charlie, come to the fore.
SYC Regatta week saw a very good
local turn out with 10 competitors. In the Junior Handicap, Ben took the top spot collecting 4 wins in his Tera Pro, with Gus in his Quba finishing a creditable 4th in what was a very competitive fleet. The Topper fleet saw some close racing with Henry Evans finishing the highest placed local boat in 2nd, closely followed into 3rd and 4th by Dom and Charlie. Town regatta also saw great numbers with 20 entries in the
Junior Handicap of which 10 were local sailors. Henry Evans topped the local boats finishing in an impressive 3rd place in his Topper.
The end of the Cadet season didn’t mean the end of sailing with a few of the cadets venturing out in the winter series to fuel their need for racing. Next year looks set to be very exciting as we build on the success of this year. See you on the water! Andrew Groves
