us many hours walking through the desert in the dark to reach somewhere that had a phone sig- nal and we ended up getting picked up around 2100hrs around a small fire. Two of our rented bikes also had a tendency to break at less than useful times; however, this was an opportunity to learn how to fix and maintain them.
On our departure day, we said our farewells to our Bedouin hosts and travelled to Karak to meet OCdt AlRawashdeh, a fellow member of
7 Platoon Waterloo Company, who graciously hosted us in his home and introduced us to his friends and family. We then travelled back to RMAS via Ukraine as we had on our outgoing journey, the only difference this time being that we were all wearing Bedouin camel skin jackets. This expedition would not have been made pos- sible without the Sandhurst Trust and its mem- bership. The expedition members of EXERCISE BEDOUIN CADET would like to express our gratitude to both.
