2024 Calendar Events and Photos

If you usually go through your area representa􏰀ve, please send the details to them.
This will help avoid clashes.
In view of new Health and Safety requirements, shortly event leaders will be provided with a set of suppor􏰀ve guidelines regarding the informa􏰀on required for events.
Events and photos need to reach us by 15th September. Events not received by then
will not be published in the calendar. Thanks.
Membership Subscriptions for 2023/2024

Subscrip􏰀ons are due on 1st August – the amounts are the same as last year i.e., £14 for individuals, £20 for a couple in the UK. If you pay extra to have a printed copy of Out Birding, please add £15 (same as last year) to your subscrip􏰀on. If you don’t already subscribe to this, and you now wish to do so, please let me know by email on contact@gbc-online.org.uk and add the extra £15 to your subscrip􏰀on payment.
It would be helpful if everyone’s subs arrived in the GBC account between 1st and 7th August each year – if your standing order is for a different date, please consider changing it. It would make the renewal admin much quicker!
If for any reason you no longer wish to be a member, could you please let me know on the above email address. This is also the email to contact if you have any changes to your address or email.

Annual General Meeting
This year's AGM will be on Thursday 28th September at 7.30 pm and will again use Zoom. We decided not to interrupt your weekend birding, and hope a Thursday evening will enable more members to take part. If so, please e-mail me at hopegreg@ymail.com and I will send you the joining instructions nearer the time.

Committee Membership
It is always good to have 'new blood' - preferably younger, too - on the committee. Anyone who has been a member for 12 months is eligible, so do please step up - the committee are a friendly bunch, and it is not too onerous! If you are interested in joining us, please let me know by September 17th.
