THE SANDHURST TRUST
The Sandhurst Foundation was founded in 2004 as an alumni organisation for those who had attended The Royal Military Academy. In 2013, it was renamed the Sandhurst Trust, with charitable status and the following aims:
1. Act as the alumni organisation for Sandhurst.
2. Organise reunions for alumni.
3. Educate the public on the history and traditions of Sandhurst.
4. Preserve the history and traditions of Sandhurst.
5. Provide leadership and welfare support to Officer Cadets, the staff and their families.
Since then, the charity has provided grants totalling over £750,000. The Trust is unique in that, of all the 2,000+ service charities, it is entirely self-supporting, with all administration costs provided by the profits from running outside events in the historic buildings of Old College. These events range from guided tours through car club meetings to major business dinners.
