LOVE YOUR BACK
This is a busy time for most of us, and the last thing anybody wants is to have a bad back or a cricked neck. Here are a few simple pointers to help you have a happy and comfortable festive season.
Try and avoid struggling back to the car, laden down with shopping. Consider making several trips back to the car, rather than one over-burdened journey.
Enlist some help with carrying and wrapping and maybe use the internet for bulky items. You can order food and drink from our local shops in advance. This will also help to take the stress out of playing ‘hunt the sprouts’ on Christmas Eve. Think about how heavy the turkey is
when you want to get it out of the freezer or oven. It can be a critical moment if you have a vulnerable back.
Decorating the tree is one of the nicer jobs over the Christmas period, but the taller the tree, the heavier it is. If you are having a real tree, do get some help carrying it into the house,
and don’t take the netting off until you have it in the place you want it. Use a step ladder to put the decorations on the top, rather than over- reaching. Most of all, remember to try and relax and enjoy it all!
Wishing you a safe and healthy Christmas.

I have a large garden that I no longer need and/or can manage, and I would like to know what my options are.
I own a parcel of land that I don’t use and I would like to explore what’s possible.
I’ve always thought or been told that I won’t get planning permission, but I’m not sure if that’s right?
