...to the second issue of your new magazine for Oundle and its beautiful villages.
Thank you. We have been truly overwhelmed by the volume of support that our first issue of Oundle Life received. The good people of Oundle have been incredibly kind and sent us so many lovely emails and messages, it’s made all the hard work worth while.
However, the magazine would be nothing without our wonderful editorial contributors.
In the last issue, Joe Croser of Oundle Architects, told us about Parson Nicholas Latham and his love for this area. So many
of you contacted us and said how much
you’d enjoyed the article, we are very happy
to announce that we convinced Joe to write another piece for this month, about the history of our beautiful Church of St. Peter (page 7).
Our sincere thanks must also go to Sally Knight from Seven Wells Butchers, who bravely agreed to feature in our first Q&A. Our next familiar face to answer the barrage of questions is Chris Woodford (page 20).
It’s been a very testing year for the High Street and the main aim of this publication is to encourage people to shop local.
With the further restrictions in place, if you can’t venture out to select presents yourself,
why not buy Gift Vouchers for your loved ones? Most of the High Street retailers sell them – hairdressers, cafes, the book shop and even the butchers – they do make fantastic presents.
