Lichfield Branch of the Staffordshire Regiment Association
 The Branch has kept itself busy as usual this year with its various events and fundraising activities. Dennis Smart and Dave Bradshaw Smith have been keeping their ever watchful eyes over the Regimental Memorial at the Arboretum and have carried out their annual inspection and clean up. We have sadly had to say goodbye to two of our members this
Our annual fundraising event was held
in August. We did the 3 Yorkshire Peak Challenge; 24 miles in 12 hours. 14 of us attended, 12 completing the challenge and 2 running the base camp. The day went well with only one accident. Tony Hopley managed to slip down the mountain side at one point causing us all great concern.

was the fourth year running in which we have held this event and was a resounding success. Our annual dinner was held in November this year and we were very honoured to have C/Sgt James Massey, of The Mercian Regiment, and his partner Miss Katie Greg there as our special guests.

There have also been quite a few trips running this year. Several of our members have joined in with museums trips. They have visited the new National Army Museum
