Staffordshire and West Midlands (NS) Army Cadet Force, part of 11th Signal and West Midlands Brigade has continued to
highlight what young adults
For the first time in recent years both the Lord Lieutenant Cadet’s for Staffordshire and the West
Midlands have proudly worn the Mercian Cap badge highlighting the Regiment’s strength within the regions Cadet Force to
the many Royal visitors the counties have received in 2017. For both Cadet Staff Sergeant Safiya Leith and Cadet Sergeant Major Rachel Humphreys their appointments have been part of a successful transformation from shy young cadets to confident leaders because of the training and
support they have received from the dedicated Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs).

Cadets from across the County
have successfully taken part in
several competitions at Brigade
and National level. These
include First Aid and a range of
sporting competitions including
Cross Country, Football and
Athletics where the cadets
have demonstrated their
determination to win, which has highlighted the endless talent of young people who are proud to be a part of such a high-profile youth organisation.
