covering both ESBA and WSBA AOs. As at March 2021 Cyprus Troop consisted of seven personnel, one VO, one VT, one SSgt, one Cpl and three JNCOs and a small number of MWDs.

Cyprus is often seen as a ‘sportsperson paradise’ offering many sporting and adventure training facilities as well as rest and recuperations mandated on return from Operational tours to Afghanistan. Adventure Training providing an
engaging element to what is seen as essential and military and personal development for all ranks, which contributes to both the physical and moral component of what the RAVC does, all helping to build understanding between differing ranks, backgrounds and, at the same time developing military capability and team cohesion – amongst many other positive aspects it brings.
The RAVC in Cyprus...a small unit with diverse operational commitments working to maintain the peace.
