So much on offer at Thrapston Library, why not pop along?
From Saturday October 3rd, Thrapston Library will also be open on Saturday mornings between 10.00am and 1.00pm, this is as well as Tuesdays and Fridays between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
The Library is still offering the ‘Library to You’ delivery service for the elderly and a Select & Collect service for those customers not yet ready to enter the Library but from 1st September, it has also been allowing the public access to the building to browse for books and use of the computer for printing or copying.
It is advisable to book a 15 minute slot by telephoning 01604 368209, 07587 926655 or emailing ThrapstonCML@gmail.com.
The wearing of face masks, use of hand sanitiser, social distancing and following
the one-way system around the Library
are essential. There is also an NHS Track
& Trace scan in place for those with the appropriate mobile telephones but if not Track & Trace details will be taken manually.
The Friends of Thrapston Library Christmas Raffle tickets will be on sale in the Library, with the first prize being a Christmas Food Hamper plus many other prizes. Tickets will be sold at the door or could be delivered if requested by telephone or email.

As our monthly Plaza meetings cannot take place
for the foreseeable future, we are continuing with our programme of Speaker meetings via Zoom. On Friday November 20th, our Speaker will be the excellent Jane Barnes, who will return to give us more...
“Tales from a Dairy Farmer’s wife”.
Tickets must be reserved online. To find out how to reserve your tickets and how straightforward it is to access Zoom meetings, detailed instructions will appear once again in our Newsletters.
