Anything’s ‘Pot-able!
– with AutoPot Watering Systems
One of the best things about owning an AutoPot Watering System is just how easy and inexpensive to they are to modify, extend, or adapt. Whether you want to change things for the sake of variety, necessity, or plant type there are add-ons aplenty available.
Such add-ons can allow you to increase the plant count within your existing system. You can use our adapters to grow media-free with the module trays you already have.
By simply swapping pot type you have the means to enhance root development and take on bigger plants - with no need for a whole new setup.
Nifty little AutoPot devices, available for around a fiver, can do wonders for the condition of your grow media and the uptake of fertiliser and moisture. And if you want to expand your system your options are affordable, diverse, and incredibly easy to bring in.
Multiplying plant count
If you want to multiply your plant count without increasing your system size then PotDivider is a great option for AutoPot growers. This easy-to-assemble insert drops into your existing pot and creates four segregated sections. The sections are ideally sized for young plants or plants that simply don’t require the run of an entire pot.
When the time comes, PotDivider lifts out cleanly, bringing your nascent plants with
it, making the process of removing plants and repotting an absolute cinch.
Grow media free
Fancy a little experiment with media-free growing? One that can deliver a delicious, ready, and abundant supply of fresh salads or herbs? For a minimal outlay and a few minutes set up time you can adapt one of your AutoPot module trays to give you all this, using AQUAplate.
The AQUAplate sits on the rim of your AutoPot module tray - in place of your usual pot. Using the contents of the AQUAplate kit you simply collar and mesh- pot your plants and insert them into the holes in the AQUAplate. Plant roots hang down into the water and nutrient solution in the module tray. It’s a fantastically easy, mess-free, efficient way to cultivate quick- to-harvest plants.
Bigger plants, grown faster
Did you know that a selection of AutoPot systems are suitable for fabric pots? You can easily combine our BPA-free, lead-free, fabric FlexiPots with XL and XXL module trays. Plant roots in FlexiPots are air-pruned thanks to the porous fabric pot sides.
This helps to create a better, more uptake conducive structure and eliminates root circling.
Ultimately you can expect to see much bigger plants, grown faster, from smaller
pots. We’ve had great success with all manner of large plants in FlexiPots, from papayas to potatoes!
Aeration
If you want to increase growth and harvests with AutoPot you really have to take a look at AirDome. There is probably no other way of boosting plant health and productivity so effectively, inexpensively, and simply.
The AirDome sits in the bottom of your pot and allows you to introduce air to the rhizosphere using a simple, low output pump - available separately. Once in use, the effect of AirDome is twofold. Firstly, it stimulates root growth and helps cultivate an uptake-conducive root structure. Secondly it aerates the root zone and helps to prevent compacting, keeping your grow media in peak condition. Highly recommended.
