The Society was inaugurated in 2016 and has a variety of speakers as well as members’ evenings and visits. Members’ research on local topics and places is encouraged.

Finedon Local History Society
The Society organises 11 meetings a year with a programme of presentations by guest speakers.
It actively engages in local history research and has produced several publications on various aspects of Finedon life.
Meetings
The Society meetings, at the Mission Room,Well Street, Finedon, are usually held on the fourth Monday of each month (excluding December and bank holidays). Full details can be found on their website.
