 The Victoria County History was founded in 1899 as a national project to write the history of every county in England.The Northamptonshire VCH Trust supports and manages this important work for our county, and has almost completed work on the latest volume, which covers the Towcester Hundred.

 Northants Open Studios
A visual arts group, giving members of the public access to art throughout the County in unusual places.We are very inclusive and feel that art should be celebrated and enjoyed by everyone.
We provide links between
artists and heritage sites across Northamptonshire and hold an arts festival in September each year.

The Society aims to promote
the history and development
of Oundle and the surrounding district.The activities comprise
a programme of five lectures between Autumn and Spring, together with two summer visits to places of interest locally. Further information and details of their current programme are available on their website.

The Pytchley Church Heritage Trust
All Saints Church dates back to the 12th century.There are several interesting features including a rare tympanum and two Norman arches, one of which has the remains of painted decoration.The Trust is a supporting organisation that organises fundraising and other events in this unique
historic building. Many of the
activities arranged have historical connections with the Church and its local community.
