Rugeley shoe box appeal for Afghan Troops
By Laurie Goode
Myself (Laurie Goode) my sons fiancée Emma Blakemore and Janette Dean have personally wrapped and packed 319 SO FAR boxes to send out to the Mercians
in Afghan. This has been made possible due to generosity of the people of Rugeley and their donations. A big thank you to
Neil Phillips of Crumbs who was collecting donations and delivering them to us. Having got a son Ashleigh Rowley-Johnson who
is in the 3 MERCIANS and is currently on tour in Afghan I know how important these boxes are to the troops and the morale.
Thank you Laurie
