FOREWORD
Introducing: the Corps RSM
WO1 (CRSM) AJ Drapier RADC
This is my rst year as RADC CRSM and may I say what an honour it is to represent the Soldiers of the Corps.
Since taking up the position in May of this year, I have already been kept busy with a number of Corps events. Turning of the Page ceremonies at the National Memorial Arboretum, Past and Present Dinner night, RADC Reunions and of course our Corps weekend. These all proved to be a success and I look forward to building on these with many more to come.
My location here at DMS Whittington, Lich eld is situated perfectly to link me with all Corps personnel far and wide. It is a real positive integrating with RADC soldiers coming through the gates to
attend their various
promotion and career
courses and also
those who are at the
very beginning of their
career attending the
DN training course.
I see my role as an
all-encompassing one.
Assisting, advising and where necessary seeking further information on soldier issues and matters, important to them. I have an open door policy and encourage interaction from all.
My plan for the future is to visit as many of you as possible, particularly where there is a large RADC footprint and make myself visible to all. It is my aim to breakdown any barriers of communicating in order to get a avour of what is required for the future development of the Corps.
I look forward most of all to serving you, continuing to represent the RADC and maintaining our Corps identify into the future.
Ex Dentibus Ensis
It’s a wonderful sight that greets me tonight And to you all I pass on my thanks
For the best demeanour for each of our Seniors As we welcome our Junior Ranks.
I’ve seen some of the keenest Dental Hygienists, RPM’s, Nurses and of course Dental Techs Donning their “jama’s” and solving the dramas Of the patients who are all nervous wrecks.
After the perusal of several occlusals
It’s a joy when there’s nally action
But there’s nothing much worse for a new Dental Nurse As handling an awkward extraction!!
Abscess, infection needles, injections
You’d be forgiven for wanting to pass
But, take it all in your stride ‘cos like, Nitrous Oxide This line of work sure is a gas!!!
The data you’re collating on patients spent waiting Takes time so before you press send
On the dentally t and those in the sh...
Because, they failed to attend.
Living the dream of the Tri-Service Scheme
A nice thought but, what if I told you
With some all at sea and the ‘RAF’ gone by 3 Thank God for the RADC Soldier.
Building those smiles makes it worthwhile In a career that ies by so fast
So savour each day don’t wish them away For the future soon become past!
Turning the Page for those who don’t age Absent Friends and those who we miss They’ll always be in the RADC
Forever Ex Dentibus Ensis!
There were jolly good shows down at Evelyn Woods Rd So many good times impossible to measure
I enjoyed all of them but as Corps RSM
This is the one that I’ll always treasure.
So the time’s here at last when I take my glass And raise a toast to colleagues and friends Because in this company I know it will be
The best yet of our Corps Weekend!!!
