Discover the 5,000 years of heritage on the 750-acre Stanwick Lakes site, uncovered in the 1980s during extensive archaeological excavations. Some of the discoveries can still be seen today, including a Bronze Age Round Barrow, and Mosaic and artefacts from a large Roman villa.

Rushden Museum
The museum provides various exhibitions of the town’s social history. It does this via photographs and artefacts, including an IT kiosk which, at the touch of a button, accesses the town’s archives.
