Towcester is a microcosm of the history of England.The museum’s exhibition contains an amazing series of interpretive panels, dioramas, audio-visual displays and artefacts that tell the story of Towcester from the Stone Age to the present day, in exciting and engaging ways.

Local social history museum housed in a Victorian swimming pool building. Shop with toys, books and souvenirs. Refreshments by the ‘pool’.Working penny slot machines, model railway and six-ton stationary engine display.
