What made you choose Thrapston? I live in
We’ve also been supplying Johnson and Sons Butchers with chopping boards to sell in their shop. We enjoy working with local businesses so they can expand too!
Any colleagues or do you two go it alone?
Thrapston and Dave lives in Islip. We really do enjoy working in the area, and have some brilliant customers that have supported us over the last 20 years.

Only the two of us – but we work with many of the local trades, so we’re always in good company.
Highlight of your day? That’s not easy to answer, as every day is different, but completing a job for a happy customer is always special.
Describe your business in five words... Hard-working, reliable, quality, honesty, creativity.
Plans to expand further? We already
have! We moved into a workshop in
Raunds in 2022 with plans to expand
the sevices we can offer. That includes
oak framed buildings to bespoke
installed furniture, and so much more!
We’ve also invested in new machines, which includes a CNC and laser engraver. This has enabled us to design and create the bar in
the Way Station in town, we’re also currently making another bar for their pub in Rushden.
Most challenging part of the job? Running any business has its challenges, but I think being out on site or in the workshop and juggling that with the paper work is difficult sometimes.
