involvement, was given a present and cards to thank the club for its involvement and support over so many years.
The club has made a donation towards the costs of Jasmine Harrison, who plans to take part in the 2025 Mini Globe Race in her 19 foot yacht. Jasmine (aged 25), who was presented with a Rotary Young Citizen of the Year Award in 2023 and became the youngest female to
row the Atlantic aged 21, is a member of Thirsk Rotary Club. She hopes to raise money for charities like End Polio Now and ShelterBox as part of the challenge.
In December we will be holding our annual Carol Service. The Carol Service is usually held in a different part of our area each year. This year the service will be held at St Mary the Virgin Church, Titchmarsh, on December 12th starting at 7.00 pm. You will be very welcome to join us. Students from Manor School will
be taking part in the service, which will be about an hour long. Seasonal Refreshments will be available after the service. Club members, partners and guests will then be looking
forward to our annual Christmas Lunch. In January we will be giving out bowls of
hyacinths and a number of club members spent time planting them earlier in the autumn.
Members wish all readers a good Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Ladies Choir
Allegra Singers would like to wish all our family, friends and supporters a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2025.
We are a ladies three-part choir, and we sing show songs as well as popular songs from the charts, from a wide variety of artists. We are always on the lookout for new members (all voices) so if you are interested, please come along to our next Open Evening on January 8th at Islip Sports Pavilion at 7.30pm – you would be made very welcome by our friendly group. You do not need to read music (tracks are provided to help you learn parts) and no audition is needed – just a love of singing!
